1. What sendbypal is
sendbypal is a marketplace platform that connects travelers with senders. We do not transport goods, we do not handle payment, we do not provide insurance, and we are not a courier service. All transactions, handovers, and payments happen directly between users.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older
- You must complete phone, email, and KYC verification before posting
- You must provide accurate identity, route, and item information
3. What can and cannot be sent
Allowed: Legal documents, academic records, immigration paperwork, government documents, medical reports, and personal documents.
Prohibited:
- Electronics of any kind
- Jewelry, gold, precious metals
- Cash, cheques, demand drafts, gift cards
- Any item with declared value above ₹10,000
- Prescription medicines without a verified prescription
- Anything illegal in any jurisdiction the parcel will travel through
4. Risk allocation
All handovers are at the parties' own risk. sendbypal makes no representations as to other users' identity beyond the verification steps disclosed in the trust badges. Senders are responsible for declaring the actual contents of their packages. Travelers are responsible for inspecting packages before accepting and for compliance with customs laws.
5. Payment
sendbypal does not process, hold, or escrow any payment between users in V1. Users settle directly via UPI, wire transfer, or any mutually agreed method. sendbypal charges only for optional platform services (priority review, premium ad placement) and these fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated.
6. Listing review
Every listing is reviewed by a human moderator before going live. We may reject any listing at our sole discretion. Listings that violate categories or attempt to circumvent rules result in account suspension or permanent ban.
7. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for: violation of these terms, fraud, harassment, repeated rejected listings, customs violations linked to listings made via the platform, or any conduct that risks platform integrity.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, sendbypal's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of use of the platform shall not exceed the fees paid by the claimant to sendbypal in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore.
